This indicator calculates the real or effective leverage that is being used in the account. Effective leverage is the multiple of your positions value compared to your total account balance. This calculation is done using basic data like your account’s margin, equity and size of open trades.
The indicator displays the following information according to the chart symbol or to the total open trades in the account, as specified by the user:
- Open Orders: Displays the number of open trades in the account.
- Lots Open: Displays the number of lots in open trades.
- Position Leverage: Displays the ratio of notional value in your open trades versus used margin.
- True Leverage: Displays the ratio of open trades notional value versus the account’s balance.
Software Requirements: Windows OS, Metatrader 4 platform.
